GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Candidate have to upload the photograph and signature in .jpeg format (image quality 200 dpi). The size of photograph and signature must be between 10 kb to 40 kb and 10 kb to 30 kb respectively
Instructions to Candidates for Registration Process The candidates are instructed to submit the following documents along with the copy of this Admission intimation, Fee receipts, online registration entry and Joining report to the Ph.D. Registration Section [044-25399450]. The students are instructed to login using Appl. No. and DOB as user id and password in order to submit their DOJ and Fee particulars for registration process.
Online Fee Receipt of Rs.3000/- should be enclosed by every research scholar for Registration purpose [Payable through online under Research students Payment’s category; The registration fee is exempted for SC/ST candidates within Tamilnadu and have to attach 2 copies ot attested community certificate]
Transfer Certificateor Course Completion Certificate or Migration Certificate from the last studied institution [in original]
Joining Report (original) to be submitted by the candidate duly forwarded as mention below along with Official Seal, within one month from the date of admission intimation:
For University Departments through the Supervisor and HOD Concerned
For Affiliated Colleges through the Supervisor, HOD and The Principal
For Recognized Research Institutions through the Supervisor and The Director
Enclose Photocopy of admit card
Enclose photocopies of all fee payments if made through online other than the Registration Fee submitted separately. (Tuition Fee, Library Fee, etc.)
Recognition form [downloaded from the University website] along with the payment mentioned below in case of candidates who have qualified from other Universities
For P.G.Qualification: Rs.200/-
For M.Phil. Qualification: Rs.400/-
Return of Matricula form [downloaded from the University website] in case of candidates who have entering first time into the University of Madras. with a payment of Rs.50/- (if already student of this University encloses an attested copy of the degree certificate)
