GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Candidate have to upload the photograph and signature in .jpeg format (image quality 200 dpi). The size of photograph and signature must be between 10 kb to 40 kb and 10 kb to 30 kb respectively
Enclose photocopies of all fee payments
Demand Draft for Rs.1,000/- in favour of ‘The Registrar, University of Madras (Fee exemption for SC / ST candidates, Attached attested 2 Copies of Community Certificate )
All original certificates to be submitted (i.e) PG and M.Phil Degree Certificate (Provisional Certificate will not be accepted.)
Transfer Certificate in original (latest) or Course Completed Certificate or Migration Certificate
Copy of Permission Letter granted by the University of Madras to do Ph.D. Research (D2 Section Communication).
Other than Registration Fee submitted separately.(Tution Fee , Library Fee, etc.)
Recognition form in case of candidates who have qualified from other Universities.
For P.G.Qualification : Rs.200/-
For M.Phil. Qualification : Rs.400/- (Also for M.L., M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., M.D., M.S., M.Lit.)
Return of Matricula form in case of candidates who have entering first time into University of Madras. with a DD Rs. 50/- (if already student of this University enclose an attested copy of the degree certificate)
Joining Report (original) to be submitted by the candidate duly forwarded as mention below :
For University Departments through the Supervisor and HOD Concerned.
For Affiliated Colleges through the Supervisor , HOD and The Principal.
For Recognized Research Institutions through the Supervisor and The Director With Official Seal, within one month from the admission intimation (D2 Letter)
If Part time, NOC copy from the Employer.
